FAQs

What training methods do you use?
Here at a Dog's Tale we use only reward based training methods. This means we only ever train with kindness, compassion and rewards. We believe this is the only way to train and strengthens the bond and trust between you and your dog. Reward based training is scientifically proven to work and give long lasting results. Here we focus on behaviour we like and positively reward it to reinforce it. A reinforced behaviour is more likely to be reproduced in the future.

What if I live out of the area's you cover?
No Problem! please contact us to discuss further.
We cover a 10 mile radius from our base (GU21 3QT) however we are happy to travel out of our zones to help but please note there is a charge of 50p per mile outside of the radius.

Is a Dog's Tale insured?
Yes, we are fully insured with Cliverton insurance.

How do I book?
Please go to the contact us section of this website and either fill in the online form or alternatively drop us an email. You may call us, however we are often busy training dogs and may not be able to take your call. The best way is via email or form and we will get back to you ASAP.

When do I pay?
Once you have booked a session with us we will send you our bank details so that you can transfer payment directly to our account. You may also pay by cash if prefered. Please note we require full payment at least 72 hours before your one to one session.

Can children join in with training?
Of course! We welcome children getting involved and believe that dogs and children can have a better relationship when children can understand dogs better and get involved with training. Children will always need to be supervised by a parent and I do not take any responsibility for children in classes or in one to ones.

Please see our terms and conditions and cancellation policies for further information.
